    If you are a robot with no issues with management telling lies, GCC is the place for you.
    The good thingsMany great people working within the Council.
    The challengesMicromanaging from the top. The managers that I had experience with actually supported a coordinator that several staff complained about, even sacking two and forcing another two to leave. These managers let the staff believe they were on their side but their actions were to sweep extremely poor behaviour under the carpet. The management talk about values but don't follow them, it's hilarious really to see first hand.

    It was challenging in that there was lack of staff; lack of funding and a lack of drive. In all, most people were very nice.
    The good thingsit was easy going. My small team were nice people. There may have been some opportunities once in a role.
