    A great working environment.
    The good thingsWorking in a very interesting environment and learning a lot about pathology.
    The challengesThe fact that head office was interstate created some issues with IT support.

    The challengesOften under staffed. Very poor work life balance-miss out doing a lot of things due to shifts Poor understanding from higher management regarding patient care

    I am happy to have a job that pays an average wage. I love what I specifically do in the lab, but management don't care about staff or patients.
    The good thingsMost of the general lab staff are lovely caring people.
    The challengesNo respect from management. Profits above people. Management expect over-time to be done for free. No staff replacement and ongoing staff reduction and stressful work-loads.

    Horrible
    The good thingsGreat lab staff as well as the collectors and the couriers. If it was not for them I would have quit long ago.
    The challengesHorrible managers, who only care for themselves. Expected to preform miracles with no help or guidance from management.

    The challengesChange of company ownership and mismanagement have made bad impressions of the company on many patients and doctors we work with.

    The challengesThe company was bought out by another at my time of employment and funding was ceased to the department I worked for. My role was made redundant and I thought that was very short-sighted.

    A continous battle where the goal posts are constantly moved and the expectation for blood, sweat and vast quantities of tears are shed.
    The good thingsI work with an amazing bunch of scientists and labbies who do an awesome job .. if it wasnt for these fantastic people I would have quit a long time ago.
    The challengesA never ending challenge to perform miracles with fewer people, unreliable eqipment and an antique computer system, but somehow we battle through and achieve.
