What’s it like working at iSelect?

    AI summary of recent reviews

iSelect offers a vibrant workplace characterised by friendly, supportive colleagues and a high-energy social culture. The company provides attractive compensation through competitive commission structures and various workplace perks including free barista coffee and discounted partnerships. Employees also appreciate the flexible working arrangements with adjustable schedules and rotating rosters.

However, the role can be demanding with challenges around work-life balance due to long hours and weekend work requirements, particularly for those pursuing higher earnings. While line managers are generally well-regarded, some employees note that upper management could improve their communication and understanding of the business. The sales targets and KPIs can be challenging to achieve, and some employees find the Cheltenham location inconvenient.

Great, start into sales with GOOD earning potential.
The good thingsWorking as a Sales Consultant at iSelect has been a genuinely been a great experience. The training was solid and helped me feel confident early on, and the team made it easy to settle in. The days are busy, but there’s always someone willing to help if you need it. The commissions are achievable, if you stay consistent, the earnings add up quickly, and there were weeks where I surprised myself with how well I did.! The team vibe is upbeat, supportive, and a little competitive in a fun way, and the leaders actually coach you rather than just manage you. Great bunch of people!
The challengesLearning the industry was definitely the biggest challenge at the start. But the training has been great and really helps you build confidence as you go, and the support from the team makes the learning curve much easier to manage.
