Better consultancies out there
The good thingsIt's a job, it's ok to learn a bit but not a long-term career if you are ambitious.
The challengesProject work is a bit boring. Managers aren't very supportive or motivating.

The challengesWork was repetitive and not interesting or challenging. No managers suitable to look up to or learn anything from.

The good thingsGood pay, good work life balance, empathetic and understanding management team. Of all the companies of worked at prior, Kleinfelder is definitely one of the better ones.

Simply not a good experience
The good thingsFlexible work environment. Free coffee.
The challengesHigh turnover of staff. Senior managers get away with anything yet junior employees are not treated well.
Senior management and team leaders need to improve their communication and empathy.
Disorganised projects and schedules.
Poor data management.

Hell with fluorescent lighting
The good thingsAn opportunity to bond with people that are also being taken advantage of.
The challenges- Melbourne is an office of middle managers deft at circumlocution who will bore you with their evasive, self-servient and verbose monologues.
- Long hours, unrealistic expectations and a baseless internal support network.
- Emotionless push for revenue and high utilisation at the expense of worker satisfaction.

Good day to day tasks, but some poorly mannered staff.
The good thingsThe tasks I performed as part of my job were enjoyable and interesting.
The challengesSome of the junior managers which I dealt with daily were incredibly rude, and showed no respect for others trying to learn and develop within the industry.
