A busy, but very fulfilling place to work.
The good thingsThe staff are friendly and welcoming. The campus is beautiful, and I generally feel very well-supported by the school. While there is an expectation to help out with extra-curriculars, there is flexibility in what you can choose to suit you. The school is supportive of good ideas and leadership aren't afraid to make changes if and when necessary. Access to plenty of technology for teaching and learning, and PD for staff who need it to upskill their own tech skills.
The challengesThe school is growing and there is some bulding work going on to accomodate this growth. Staff need to be flexible and ready to adapt with room changes at the moment, but I believe this will be worth it soon.

Highly stressful and unsupportive work environment
The good thingsThe school is well off so good ideas are often funded (but money is regularly wasted too so this could also fall into the bad category). There are a number of good teachers and support staff (but they often get burnt out and leave).
The challengesHigh staff turnover. The school cares more about its reputation than anything else which can be very negative when people try to address issues. Unprofessional and unfair behaviours are common but are covered up and anyone raising issues are moved on.

    Great culture, professional team.
The good thingsGreat team environment. Through recent COVID challenges in particular, have seen a great spirit among this staff. All willing to support one another and put students first.
The challengesNothing to highlight that wouldn't be normal in any school. Always busy, but with meaningful work that makes a difference.
