One tsunami of paperwork after another, with no chance to breathe!
The good thingsOnsite secure parking, nice environment, good staff facilities, eg. lunchroom and a good amenities in the admin staff area. Fellow employees were lovely. A lot of good points about the place.
The challengesMy section was vastly understaffed. Expected to do the work of three people, and when targets were not met, gas lighting of staff so that they feel like it's somehow their fault. Getting asked what we can do so that it doesn't happen again. No, you need to employ more staff. Yes, I told them of my concerns two weeks into the job and then I resigned. I hope it changes, but pretty sure nothing will. Such a shame, as everything else was great.
