I enjoyed working here as it was a friendly and motivational environment where everyone was passionate about their role in Merlo Coffee and was a positive atmosphere.The good thingsThe staff and company was extremely passionate about their business such as customer service and making quality coffee for everyone each time. There was always a diverse range of food to be made and sold, as well as over 6 different coffee blends that each had a unique taste. The training for becoming a barista was nothing but the best, ensuring our skills were as good as can be. Staff meetings that were held also allowed us to expand our knowledge on coffee in a fun environment.
The challengesIt was challenging learning all the different types of coffee beans sold, but could easily be resolved by trying each different blend per shift to be able to have an understanding of the unique tastes each one had.
