If you are someone who turns up and takes pride in your work, Norco is a rewarding place to work.
The good thingsNorco is a genuinely supportive and values-driven organisation. I have found the management team at my site to be approachable, respectful, and willing to go above and beyond to support staff when needed. Norco is also connected to the community and treats its workforce with respect. For a rural employer, the pay is very competitive, and staff who come to work, do their job, and act with integrity are supported and appreciated. I have always felt listened to and encouraged in my role.
The challengesLike any workplace, there is always room for improvement. As a large organisation, communication can sometimes be refined to ensure information is shared consistently across all levels. Different personalities and opinions will exist in any team, and managing these dynamics is an ongoing challenge in all workplaces not just Norco. These challenges are not unique and are actively being worked on, with leadership showing a genuine willingness to improve and support staff.

Avoid this place, not with the stress
The good thingsSome of the people are great to work with.
The challengesManagement has no people skills and love themselves. Purple circle is very prevalent, either you're in with the crowd or you're shafted. Rosters are always screwed up, and you get blamed if they make a mistake with them. There are mentally unwell people working there that are in "the circle" that treat others like dirt and scream at them and nothing is done about it, while good people are stuffed around for no reason. No training provided, just thrown in the deep end. Very weird phycology.
