Was a fantastic place to work for. Loved every minute. Missed it when I had to leave for another part-time work opportunity.
The good thingsGreat training & very close-knit workplace that includes a 'huddle-time' before every work session (which promotes belonging). Tutoring is very rewarding, as you get to see the students improving. Great if wishing to work a second job or wishing to work shorter hours.
The challengesThe tutoring sessions are in one hour slots with up to four students at a time. These sessions are extremely full-on from start to finish, so you have to be ok with a very fast-paced environment that can run for at least a few hours in succession. Only casual.

    Rewarding!
The good thingsFun working environment that was very rewarding knowing students were improving their maths skills and knowledge not only during the tutoring session, but also at school because of me.
The challengesBalancing my time spent with each of the three students when one of the students had difficulty grasping the math skill/technique. Managing disruptive behaviour was also challenging.
