Great client work, great colleagues and important programs. But they need to move with the times and start hiring progressive, innovative leaders.
The good thingsLearned a lot and met some really passionate, skilled and incredible clinicians.
The challengesAutocratic management, lack of transparency, toxic management who have been there for far too long with no accountability.

5 to 6 years in the role, current employee
I have been with OHV for six years, love my role working with AOD and families, my managers are very supportive, and our teams are friendly and experienced. this is a long term place to work. We value our staff and clients and will make every effort to help everyone achieve their goals and dreams.
The good thingsThe work culture is safe and inviting, and it's like a family away from home. People look out for you, and your wellbeing is essential. Managers are at a ground level at the Footscray office; the CEO knows your name and is very approachable for a large company. I love my job and the people I work with at Footscray. Job security and a safe working environment
The challengesWith the pandemic just starting to settle, we have been returning to face to face work rather than from home for the last two years. So getting to know new staff and losing experienced staff to vaccination rules being mandatory
