    Toxic Leadership – Not Recommended
The good thingsLeaving Onsite Rental Group.
The challengesMy time there was marked by significant upheaval. New ownership, new GM, & constantly changing operations managers with poor direction which negatively affected morale, culture, and employee well-being. Under the previous GM, managers were held accountable and the workplace felt fair and collaborative. The current GM’s hands-off approach has allowed Operations, safety, and HR to function without meaningful oversight, creating a “do as I say, not as I do” leadership style. The behavior modelled by senior leadership falls short of professional standards, contributing to a clear decline in culture. Outdated, authoritarian management practices continue, with poor or non-existent communication & employees being penalized for unclear expectations & sheer lack of direction. This environment prioritizes control over work-life balance and mental wellness. Based on my experience, I will not recommend OSR as a place of employment, as the cost to personal well-being outweighs any benefits.

Pathetic experience. Should have listened to colleagues who left and told me to run while i can but i got tricked and burnt
The good thingsThe salary was received in time
The challengesToxic colleagues creating toxic work culture, jealous and rude. Over worked but still no appreciation. Every one had their own agendas rather than working for the company. People were too mean and jealous of hard workers. Unnecessary dobbing and just creating problems for people who want the company to flourish.

Don't let the promise of the wage blind you
The good thingsThe pay and remote allowances
The challengesToxic management, assisstant branch manager cooking up tall tales to sack anyone that they didn't see as their personal "yes" person. No equipment training provided from OEM's but expected to fix aged broken machines. Asset purchasing buy cheap equipment with no Australian parts with suppliers, unrealistic monthly budgets for spare parts and service kits, worked flat out until demoralised and burnt out physically and emotionally.

Toxic environment, management have no sense of reality, overworked, run staff till they are burnt out, only focus on negatives.
The good thingsThere honestly wasn’t much good with this company
The challengesVery Toxic company in the Pilbara, management have zero clue on how to run a company and will not hesitate to blame their incompetence on others. Would not recommend this company to anyone, do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

    Walk away. Run if possible
The good thingsNothing about this place was good.
The challengesUpper management out of touch with reality. Setting unrealistic deadlines for other people. Complete false advertisement on seek. Nobody in management actually has any idea what goes on in the real world. Zero training, workshop tooling is very limited, vehicles are a joke.

I'm a longer standing employee that has been afforded many opportunities to progress my career through hard work and dedication, and I've enjoyed doing this with many wonderful employees
The good thingsOnsite is a well established and respected business in the hire industry, and is filled with dedicated staff willing to go the extra mile.
The challengesAs with all hire companies, having the right equipment in the right place all the time to meet customer needs is difficult, but that's hire.

The challengesThe hire industry is very reactive so it is the ability to priorities and manage your day.

To summarise the company, I would give it a big wide birth. Worst company I ever worked for
The good thingsAfter the Gcs buyout. Things slowly spiralled downwards. The company is run buy dangerous and incompetent upper management. Apart from a few good work colleges, there were no good things about the company
The challengesTrying to keep yourself going after being put down by HR and upper management was always a challenge.
