Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy
The good thingsThe friends I made and the uniform allowance.
The challengesThe company culture is toxic with management being two faced and horrific to deal with. There was never enough budget to roster people and you were expected to work for free and management did not like that it was brought up and requested to be paid for our time instead of arriving early and leaving late for free. My phone would ring on almost every day off and I never had a chance to properly switch off. HR was also toxic and didn't actually care about any grievances you may have. Staff are expected to unbox, price and tag anywhere up to 100 boxes of stock per day and hit KPIs that were often unattainable.
