Used to be fun, enjoyable and lucrative, but that all changed with the NEC take over.
The good thingsNot much in hindsight. The company used to be great, but then there was a sort of reverse take over that changed the whole place and made it not a nice place to work.
The challengesThe new style of management with the NEC style of management was not a nice place to work. They turned the consultants into sales staff. I never joined the company to be in sales. I joined to be technical staff.

Invested to much time/money into some incredibly old software, unwilling to adapt to the future which is odd for an IT base company.
The good thingsEncouraged 'green' living with incentive to take public transport.
The challengesWorking with managers who changed as often as their titles did.

Highly rewarding and positively motivated workplace which supports individuals in achieving their goals.
The good thingsInteraction with management. Service focus. Work life balance is actively managed and supported. Excellent work premises and incentives to take public transport.
The challengesNone that I can think of, I moved away for my next career move.

    Good experience overall
The good thingsFantastic new building and very central to public transport. Some really good people work or have worked at Scope Systems over the years.
The challengesSales in a tough market makes for continuous implementations difficult.

Wouldn't recommend this company as a place of work
The good thingsWork/life balance is OK, the new office is good and centrally located.
The challengesA complete lack of career opportunities, people remain in the same positions forever. Performance bonuses have not been paid for the last couple of years. Remuneration is partly commission-based for a significant fraction of staff which results in elevated levels of stress and a lack of cooperation between co-workers.
