It's a dynamic job that gives you a sense of doing something useful for the public.
The good thingsOfficers are constantly underpaid due to payroll mistakes. You need to keep a close eye on your payslip—if you don’t notice or raise the issue, you’ll never be paid fairly. Some team leaders and supervisors treat you worse than dogs, creating a very toxic environment.
The challengesThe workplace is toxic, with job insecurity and rude management.

Would rather be working somewhere else and that’s why there is a huge turnover of employees unfortunately.
The good thingsReceiving a payslip every fought night, and going home to a wife , children after an early morning shift .
The challengesRude Pilots that never say good morning, hello .

The good thingsSome people that work there really help elevate the company.
The challengesMANAGEMENT they aren't interested in keeping workers their focus is on rotating for government funding. They don't care about keeping you employed

The only job Ive ever had that I enjoy going to!
The good thingsEasy job when you know what you are doing. Can ask for as many or little hours as you want. Paid breaks. Paid training. Ability to progress to do other things in the company. Can earn good money if you put in the hours and overtime.
Lots of people who you work with are all diverse and it’s fantastic!
The challengesDifficult passengers. Some members of staff like to think they are superior. Some of the SOPs are outdated and need to be revised for the current time.
Not enough females on shift so you can sometimes be on the same job role for hours on end.

The good thingsnot many , some staff are good and friendly , passengers can be challenging

Job its self is not bad but poor management makes it very difficult.
The good thingsInteractiom with some passangers and colleagues can be enjoyable at times.
The challengesPoor management, no opportunity for career progression and zero flexibility with the rosters. Very poor fatigue management will often work for over 5 hours with no breaks. Overall very difficult company to work for.

The company is big. It could be even better by considering its employee benefits more, I mean by taking care of its employees more instead of focusing Profit maximisation!!

Good company to work for, plenty of work available and a good place to get experience.
The good thingsGreat team of people, friendly and approachable management, plenty of shifts available for a casual, and a lot of flexibility.
The challengesCan be difficult to get your foot in the door. I know people who cannot even get an interview for unknown reasons. The applicants are reviewed in Sydney, and the management in Canberra seems to get little say.
