What’s it like working at Southern Cross Education Institute?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Southern Cross Education Institute offers a vibrant multicultural environment where employees benefit from supportive colleagues and a positive workplace culture. Staff particularly value the professional development opportunities, comprehensive training support, and quality campus facilities. The institution's commitment to creating a collaborative and friendly atmosphere is frequently highlighted as a key strength.

However, some aspects of the work environment present opportunities for improvement. These include concerns about management communication styles, periods of heavy workload during peak times, and compensation rates that some feel could be more competitive with similar institutions. It's worth noting that many recent reviews indicate positive experiences with minimal challenges, suggesting potential improvements in these areas.

Good place to learn, worst place for work
The good thingsStaff are nice and you will learn a lot
The challengesPoor management and very low pay. (Way much lower than other institutions or universities). Students are rude, arrogant and management cannot do anything to protect the staff. No communication between the management and staff while the management doesn’t even know what is going on. Expected the staff to do way more than they can while not even train the staff properly.

This company has the potential but unfortunately never learn from their mistakes. Terrible management, no care for staff morale, will just rehire. Huge work load, unorganised & high demand from trainers with little support
The good thingsStaff are nice, building and locations are good
The challenges- micromanaged by management - low income - monthly pay by cheque - high staff turn over - students are treated as money not humans - poor quality of courses & treatment of students
