If you are an Educator with reasonable sanity and new ideas... stay away!!The good thingsMost kids are great and eager to learn
The challengesThe other teachers are non-chalant and practically provide no support. Instead give orders to do tasks that are apparently necessary. The school building is claustrophobic mess, barely any space to move around during recess/lunch, not enough play spaces for students, science rooms are lacking basic facilities. The new leadership is as close to dictatorship as you can get in a school, if you do not do things according to them you will be expended. There is no room for innovation, ideas or experimentation. The parents are put before teachers and basically treat teachers as their personal slaves, barking orders, sending insulting emails without any consequences and protection for teachers. Basically as a teacher you live in constant fear and mental and emotional stress.
PS- The previous principal just disappeared at the start of term 2 without so much so as a hint. That's how much power the board of directors have and they wield it with complete freedom.
