Stay away from working for the shamim group, they are a nasty greedy group of guys that have no compassion for the people that run their stores for them. The good thingsCan’t really think of a positive for this experience
The challengesYou’ll never have a day off, even if you do have a rostered day off you’ll spend it on your phone, still working with constant phone calls, text messages etc.
Their standards and what they expect of you is completely unrealistic, and you’ll burn yourself out trying.
You won’t get a lunch break, as they roster you on alone for as long as they can get away with… you’ll be lucky to get a chance to use the bathroom.
It comes with a lot of admin work, yet there’s no time to get it done while you’re at work as you’re usually alone apart from having some staff on for the lunch period, so not only will you not get your breaks, struggle to use the bathroom and be completely exhausted but once you’re home the work doesn’t stop.
