    Truly great “Tribe” and “Tribal Leaders”
    The good thingsI work with a wonderful manager who genuinely cares about her customers and team. It is such a positive and happy environment where everyone is valued. As a prior customer, I love wearing and styling the clothes. And to have such great feedback from our customers is so rewarding. As a company, I feel cared for and appreciated. It’s wonderful to be able to promote the Taking Shape values and to be part of “The Tribe”.

    The good thingsThe culture and the fact that they love promoting from within The team I work with are so nice as are all the Senior Executives and other staff too I love that they offer us bonuses to earn TS cash so we can use this towards our clothes for work I love coming to work and helping customers find their new confidence and helping fellow staff members too

    Expensive uniform, Unrealistic KPIsCustomers feel more confident when leaving the store with your advice and recommendations. You learn alot about Styling products. Expensive to uphold. You are expected to wear the recent clothing and Uniform Allowance only given if you meet budget every month. KPIs are unrealistic and it becomes more about how many items you can sell and how much you can sell than overall customer experience.

    Overall, it was a discouraging and unproductive environment that negatively affected staff morale and professional development.
    The good thingsmade nice life friends that I will still hang out with.
    The challengesToxic work culture, Favouritism played at all levels of management, often based on personal relationships and flattery rather than actual performance. Gossip about other staff is a daily routine, even initiated by senior managers. A senior manager openly referred to a colleague in a derogatory way.

    The good thingsI have worked at Taking Shape for nearly 2 years now and love this company. I work as part of the Design team and am constantly inspired by the talented people working here. Everyone is super friendly. The culture is great. Management are wonderful and supportive.
