Your enjoyment in working at TGI fridays will heavily depend on the venue, and you will hate the payThe good thingsMy co-workers are the best, we constantly joke, help eachother, teamwork nine times out of ten is second to none. Management can be good.
The challengesCorporate doesn't really care, they tell you things and then don't follow through. ***THIS COMPANY ONLY CARES ABOUT THEIR PROFIT***, even if it means that your hours are cut, benifits are reduced, work load increases, etc.
Although managers can be good, at often times they're unreliable, and sometimes just flat out rude. The company has had a bad enterprise agreement with horrible pay for years, and they're only now proposing that we get rid of it and go on the award, where they have (discreetly) mentioned that they will be under-paying us.
They will put on a facade that they 'recognise hard work', and have 'great opportunities for progression'. Do not fall for it. Their version of recognising hard work comes in the form of cheap pins and a pat on the back every once in a while while you're left to work your guts out for a weekly check that doesn't pay the bills.
