    A Disheartening Experience – Would Not RecommendMy time at Townsville Catholic Education was extremely disappointing. The work environment was highly toxic and demoralising. Unrealistic expectations, poor communication, and a culture of favouritism made it nearly impossible to succeed or feel supported. Unfortunately, many in management appeared to lack the skills, knowledge, and professionalism expected in leadership roles. This trickled down into broader team dynamics, with unqualified individuals often placed in key positions—not based on merit, but on relationships. There was little to no genuine support for staff wellbeing or professional growth. Instead of fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture, the organisation seemed driven by internal politics and ego. This experience left me disillusioned and disheartened. I would not recommend this workplace to anyone seeking a healthy, respectful, and growth-oriented environment.
