    The challengesSupervisors and management are appalling. Wage theft and requested to do dodgy work. Trucks not maintained.

    I was offered this role but had to move 6 hours away from my residence. They offerered me a full time position but only required me for 6 weeks. Don't move out here for a role for anybody contemplating working with this company.
    The good thingsFree Lunch, No Traffic to work, Short Drive to Town but there's not much there anyhow.
    The challengesPoor IT systems in terms of their custom configuration, low standards and you will be expected to know all of the workflows in the software CRM which is on excel style spreadsheets. It's a joke, Office Staff are often condescending and rude.

    Great place to work; the people, the work, the reward. Days are hard and long but the experience and knowledge you gain is well worth it.

    The perfect balance of challenge and camaraderie.
    The good thingsThe team, the up-skilling and getting out and seeing the outback.
    The challengesThe harsh environment with extreme weather conditions, hot, cold and stormy. Being away from home is pretty hard as well but getting those 10 days at home with my family really makes it feel worth it.

    Love the WD team! I went from Leasehand to Lead Floorhand in about a year because the team pushed me to my full potential.
    The good thingsHad an awesome time working at Wild Desert, made some great mates & learnt a lot from some of the best.
    The challengesIt was pretty challenging being away from family but the mates I made out at work made it easier being away.

    Work, living and workmates were great. really let down by management and head office.
    The good thingsThe Blokes you get to work with. Accommodation next to workshop. Being just outside of town for everyday needs.

    Great, as I was in the field mostly, away from the disorganized management. Ok gear, great crews, made alot of mates there. And great work variety
