The degree was not enough to gain employment in the sectors that were relevant in the legal field. It seems to only be a good for a bridging degree for further studies.

Great course which allows anyone working in the legal field to further their career by gaining the ability to practise as a licenced conveyancer.

Law is a time killer. If you want to study law, you need to allow more time than is recommended in the course outline as this is only the minimum. This course requires a real passion for law rather than justice. There is an insane amount of reading and you are bombarded with complex theories and concepts from the very beginning.

Flexible learning excellent and committed staff. Access to support when needed with ease from tech support to teaching support. Curriculum all current and presented logically. Excellent online learning portal. I obtained a poison in the legal industry immediately after my admission to legal practice with this degree.

The course was great and well balanced, industry relevant yet enough flexibility and time in the course to enable you to explore areas of interest. Online is identical to campus based study, as I tried both to compare. It is the best online Uni experience I have had (and I’ve studied a lot).

I worked full time and studied 3 semesters, 3 subjects each semester on average so my response is appropriate for that. I already had a job available after graduation.

Useful course with appropriate support from the teaching staff. More units delivered on campus would be preferable.

I enjoyed studying Law at Southern Cross University and having the flexibility to study online, however if I could go back in time I would not have studied law as finding a junior lawyer job is extremely difficult when you dont have post admission experience.

I found online study with SCU to be easily fitted into my working and family commitments. Online delivery is excellent and access to course materials is good. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to engage with other students and unit assessors and you get the sense you’re missing out on something but I think that is usual in online study rather than unique to scu

The course gave me the tools to assess and apply legislation in my current government role . The course help me develop skills to draft sound legal advice.
