The Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation) is designed to prepare students for employment in a range of operational management and planning roles within the aviation industry. Students can choose from 2 streams: aviation operations and management and piloting. Through this program, students will gain a broad awareness of the aviation industry and a range of analytical skills, giving them a comprehensive appreciation of the aviation operating environment. Students will develop breadth and depth of thinking, and the ability to solve problems relevant to the aviation industry.

The course is essentially a generic Logistics Buisness Management degree that focuses on Aviation. RMIT spent a great deal of effort making sure that the course balanced the different elements of the subject, but graduating the degree does not leave you job ready.
