Marketing is one of the core activities of all organisations and is about planning and executing the selling and/or promotion of a firm's product. In this course students learn about the principles of market research, market segmentation, target market identification, pricing strategies, advertising and promotions and international and strategic marketing. Students can also select from a range of additional marketing topics including social media marketing, marketing communications, services marketing and marketing applications.

Flinders university was a great experience to study in career wise and socially. Majority of lecturers and tutors tried their best to make studying at Flinders a fun and engaging experience. More practical work for real life scenarios would be a great implementation to further improve Flinders.
