Minimal industry experience. No hands-on courses, mostly theory.

Generally the course was well balanced between theoretical and practical work. The option to be able to have a diverse range of work during the first two years and then to be able to specify your learning in the final two years have been beneficial for my career, knowing what area of civil engineering i was interested in and focusing my learning onto that.

A difficult course but plenty of resources and well experienced tutors to help students get through it.
