Being able to do the acceleration program really kept me focussed and succeed

I completed my degree in 2 years instead of 3 years as it was the first year offered as an accelerated program. I was extremely well supported and I never felt overwhelmed. Online lectures were also very helpful and easy to follow if I couldn’t make a class.

I had really good experience with USQ. Great teachers and online study was excellent.

The course content was relevant and applicable to my practice. It allowed me to link the theoretical applications to my cold face practice. It also allowed me to see the benefits of lifelong learning in my career.

The USQ campus was closed down in our region and taken over by another university therefore we weren’t left to become distant education students which was very hard. Not having local facilities and support in the middle of your degree is a massive change and had a negative Impact on everyone. In saying that, the assistance online was wonderful and USQ did their best to accommodate us. The course content itself is great and relevant and I’d recommend this to anyone.

Course was lacking in practical learning and placement hours. Was not enough on campus classes and a lot of the learning was online with poor assistance from teaching team. Due to it being a lot online it would be great for people who need to work or be at home.

I think they could have entered alot more in their course curriculum. And made alot more of the course face to face instead of online
