Why study this course

This qualification is part of the Property Services Training Package. It reflects the roles of pest management technicians required to identify common urban pests, assess pest problems, consider pest management options, develop pest management plans, liaise with customers and implement pest management strategies. Mostly, technicians work alone and have responsibility for managing chemicals and equipment used in pest management as well as for a pest management vehicle, including the vehicle storage area.
