The course is very different from what I expected , it was a lot harder than what I expected and the work load was a lot more than I expected. The delivery was great , but I think if you are serious about getting the TAE Training and Assessment then maybe look at doing it full time . You need to add an extra day of time to finish the work . The materials are great because it’s all online and you need to have some basic computer skills to get the work done in time .

The content of the course was updated in 2023 so we were the first group of students to complete the new course. Our teacher tried his best to ensure we were able to get through the course however, there were quite a few mistakes within the course which was quite frustrating as we struggled to understand what needed to be done. Lots of written and practical components to the course! We had to make everything relevant to our industry which at times was challenging. It was great learning about everyone’s industries though. I do recommend the course to anyone that would like to teach in vocational education. It’s definitely not an easy course, quite stressful, but it’ll definitely be worth it in the end.
