Assumption College is a Catholic, co-educational day and boarding secondary school founded by the Marist Brothers. The College has been educating students in the Marist tradition for over 130 years. Our evolving history and culture has grounded each of us in a mission focused on ‘walking gently yet firmly with young people in their learning’. The characteristic values of a Marist education centre on presence, simplicity, family spirit, and love of work all achieved ‘in the way of Mary’. At Assumption College, these values underpin our approach to young people in their learning, and the broadening of the curriculum to support them in their ‘education for living’.
