Boehringer Ingelheim stands out for its comprehensive training programs, particularly beneficial for industry newcomers and commercial roles. The company cultivates a warm and collaborative atmosphere where employees enjoy significant autonomy and flexibility in their daily work. As a privately-owned company, it maintains independence in its decision-making processes, free from stock market pressures.

Wonderful company that's continuing to grow and develop in the right direction.
The good thingsWarm and inviting office - I won't use the word 'family' because in the current climate, it's linked with red flags, but at Boehringer, people are open and willing to collaborate and make impactful decisions. Onboarding is positive and seemless, and there's a reason why Boehringer has a fantastic reputation for hiring new rookies to commercial roles, as they are trained extensively but with the necessary and relevant practical skills for them to be excellent in-field.
The challengesSome departments can be challenging to break into if you're looking to expand your skills as not a lot of open positions in head office. Some departments have lack of career progression due to regional and global alignment.

Great people, encouraged to bring new ideas and try them out.
The good thingsHas a strong innovation pipeline so it's changing how it does things, getting bolder and more confident with telling their story. It's fully independent, privately owned. Not slaves of the stock market.
The challengesSometimes too collaborative which can slow decision making.

This was once a great place to work but these days everyone is trying to get out.
The good thingsA good sales training for rookies but don't stay for too long. Management is out of touch and create a toxic workplace.
The challengesWorking for a company more interested in metrics than actually driving business.
