Avoid at all costs. Your mental health will thank you.
The good thingsSome of the staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient location by Victoria Cross metro station. Some flexible options.
The challengesThe CEO. I was set up to fail, and she made my job exceptionally difficult. Emotions ruled over logic, and I was criticised for asking for help; from her and from other long-term staff. As a new starter, limited support was given and my workload was extreme. So many assumptions were made about things I should have instinctively known (company processes, not skills related to my job). Plus key conversations were had without me being a part of them. It all caused severe anxiety and insomnia from the stress I was put through - so much so that I was put on a course of medication, and my direct report was hospitalised with heart palpitations. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemies. Even my predecessor was saying how glad they were to be leaving, and how unreasonable management were. I should have listened to their advice. One more thing: apparently WFH days are an earned privilege? This wasn't communicated through the recruitment process (it was mentioned as a given).
