good career growth opportunities but you're often apologising for stuff out of your controlThe good thingsHad fantastic opportunities to explore many different roles within the company, providing me with a very well-rounded education within a business setting. A lot of lovely people to work with and made many friends. There's also a staff lunch every month.
The challengesWhile there were a lot of lovely people, there's a rampant issue with a lot of adults who behave like teenagers. People often don't take accountability or ownership of mistakes and you're often expected to cover the work of absent co-workers (on top of your regular workload) without any thanks or reward. I once received a write-up for falling behind in my own job while trying to keep up with co-worker's jobs who were on holiday at the time.
