Not worth the time or the energy The good thingsMet some great people, life long friends
The challengesInsane work load. Extremely money hungry company, you are just a number to them, they give out no additional hours but won't hesitate to give out 10 extra tasks a day on top of the already unmanageable work load. Do not work in Visual Merchandising if you want to be recognised as an equal. VMs are the back bone of the business and store presentation/sales, there is 1 VM to 4 sales managers per store, and the VM is paid the least, whilst arguably having the biggest individual work load. On top of this, you will work with staff members who have had upwards of 10 file notes on their record and will never actually be punished for this, in fact as long as City Beach is your only personality trait, you'll easily be promoted no matter how bad your track record is. It took me far too long to realise I wasn't being treated the way | deserved. Also, get everything in writing, they will tell you you're getting a raise and not follow through cause they
'forgot'. A lot of lessons learnt.
