A workplace environment that severely impacted mental and physical health.
The good thingsThere are dedicated people within the organisation who were great to work with and provided valuable service to the community. The flexibility in working hours was good.
The challengesThe organisational culture requires significant improvement. Management need to take greater accountability, strengthen support, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to improving the working environment for staff. The City of Bunbury needs to give closer consideration to its leadership appointments, address inappropriate behaviour early through difficult but necessary conversations, and clearly outline consequences for poor conduct. At present, there appears to be a lack of accountability, creating the perception that unacceptable behaviour is tolerated.

Probably the worst career move I've made so far.
    The good thingsHelping the community
The challengesPoor management where all inappropriate behaviours are accepted. A revolving door of great team members due to toxic culture.

Not a great environment to be in, some positive people but in general an atmosphere of high tension.
The good thingsNice office set -up, decent working hours, very low staff morale, a lot of staff unhappy with management lack of empathy and very political decision making.
The challengesManagement not transparent, Director given way to much power to get rid of team members they do not like. Not much consideration is made towards what is best practice in a lot of other organisations, it isn't like working for state gov where everyone is treated fairly. A lot of tyrannising type behaviours.
