I’ve never worked so hard in my life, yet felt so unappreciated. I worked after hours and weekends, and it was never enough. When issues were raised with management they just got swept under the rug. It’s a shame as there are some really great staff there, doing some wonderful work. I can’t believe I stayed as long as I did - but I did come very close to complete burn out.
The good thingsPassionate staff, free parking, easy commute, RDOs.
The challengesUnder resourced. Toxic culture (in certain portfolios). Issues being swept under the rug. Burn-out across the organisation.
