What’s it like working at Coral Homes?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Coral Homes stands out for its exceptional team culture and supportive work environment, where colleagues collaborate effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere. The company's management team receives consistent praise for being approachable and supportive, while offering substantial career development opportunities. Employees appreciate the generous benefits package, which includes competitive pay, recognition programs, and regular social events.

The main challenges at Coral Homes centre around the fast-paced nature of the industry, which can lead to high workload expectations, particularly during peak periods. Some practical challenges include limited parking facilities, which can create daily logistical issues for staff. However, many reviewers note that these challenges are typical of the industry and are managed well within the supportive company structure.

"Well-paid role with efficient systems, but poor staff retention and declining morale."
The good thingsCoral Homes offered competitive weekly pay plus super, which was a standout compared to other companies in the industry. The location was convenient, and using Revit made the drafting process faster and more efficient. Overall, the work was structured and provided solid exposure to residential drafting workflows.
The challengesParking was a consistent frustration — with only around 80 spots for over 100 staff, many had to move their cars every two hours due to limited street options. Lunch breaks were restricted to just 30 minutes. Toward the end of my time, there was a noticeable rise in staff turnover and a lack of transparency from management. There appeared to be little to no commitment to retaining existing or past staff — after I left, half (if not all) of my team also resigned, which reflected a deeper morale and leadership issue.
