What’s it like working at Enterprise Rent-a-Car?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Enterprise Rent-a-Car employees consistently highlight the value of their supportive colleagues and the enjoyable aspects of customer interactions, particularly at airport locations. These interpersonal relationships appear to be a significant source of job satisfaction for many staff members.

However, employees face several workplace challenges, including concerns about management support and communication, issues with understaffing leading to increased workload, limited training and development opportunities, and difficulties maintaining work-life balance due to the nature of shift work. The achievement of sales targets and commission goals can also be challenging within the current structure.

Thankless job,Terrible and Incompetent Upper Management.
The good thingsMeeting people from all over the world(when their vehicle is actually available!)
The challengesManagement saying they encourage ideas for improvement and then totally ignore or dismiss suggestions. Payroll and HR departments are extremely incompetent, an absolute nightmare. Award leave entitlements not adhered to. Overbooking vehicles and dealing with angry customers.

There's a high turn over rate that is company wide for a reason. It's a really stressful place to work and even though the people are generally great, it's not worth it.
The good thingsMet some good people and enjoyed customer interactions.
The challengesPoor management and training across the whole company. They make empty promises regarding fixing problems, uniforms, and learning/growth opportunities. No HR support, and leadership is fully aware. Roles remain unfilled for months, leading to extra duties without added pay or support.

    Don’t , just don’t. It’s not worth the stress
The good thingsMeet some great people and customers
The challengescontracts that fair work warn against with strange ways to rip you off on overtime, absolutely no HR support. Promises on uniforms, training manuals ETC. promise a family atmosphere and throw you to the wolves. Unachievable bonus for managers that seniors love sinking
