Horrible place to work, management is terrible, culture is poor. Worst mine I have ever worked at because management refuses to change and admit they are the issue.
The good thingsGeneral level of people is decent
The challengesManagement is terrible in all departments. They will not recognise that management is the issue and how they treat people is horrible. I have never been to a workplace where majority of workers hate being there but stay due to the residential location. Majority of the workforce both UG and surface were not happy at this mine but had limited options to move due to state and location. There is almost no possibility for advancement as management will only hire those that are in their circle. Hated working at this site, morale is poor and almost had to go on antidepresents to get through the work week.
