A Fantastic opportunity for young adults to gain life experience and make some friends along the way.
The good things◙An opportunity for young individuals to gain some valuable life skills in the Land management and conservation area. ◙Often working on little projects day to day, you can meet a lot of local landowners around the area and visit some hidden gem locations around the hills. ◙You get trained in first aid, basic chemical handling, and chainsawing under supervision and you get to learn about risk assessments as you perform them daily. ◙Chance to have additional responsibilities and experience, through being a first aid or equipment officer, and even a designated emergency driver.
The challenges◙It's only a 6-month contract, but luckily I had the opportunity to renew it once.
