What’s it like working at Harbour IT?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Harbour IT offers valuable learning opportunities across various technical areas, with employees particularly appreciating the chance to develop diverse skills. The company benefits from having highly skilled and supportive colleagues who work well together, and some long-term employees fondly recall the positive culture that existed before the Canon acquisition.

However, the organisation faces several operational challenges, including difficulties with workload management and meeting SLAs with limited staff resources. There are also concerns about management effectiveness, particularly regarding staff retention and people management. The lack of comprehensive processes and training documentation has been noted as an area requiring improvement.

The good thingshighly qualified employees who are often doubted, discouraged, and pushed off the cliff by a constant demotivating effort from their management
The challengesManagement has no direction or vision, Lacks humility. The company is still living in the past of Tech despite being a technology solutions provider. The toxic culture between teams and the trust simply does not exist. the company is a revolving door with one of the highest employee turnover rate I had ever seen

Great start for new graduates. One shot interview or lack off when they desperately low resources due to high staff turnarounds.
The good thingsThe experience in earning varieties of skills outside of scope
The challengesYou be dealing with escalations, and trying to meet ridiculous SLA and short notices. Most process are self learnt, lack of training guides, total mess.
