Employees at Insight Fundraising appreciate the supportive environment, great culture, and friendly and diverse team. The company provides thorough training and mentoring support to help employees succeed. Employees value the good base rate, commission structure, and incentives offered. Insight Fundraising also offers flexible working hours, which is particularly beneficial for students and those with other commitments. Employees feel a sense of accomplishment and gratification from working for charities and raising money for good causes.

However, there are some potential challenges, such as meeting sales targets and KPIs, which can be particularly difficult for those new to sales or telemarketing roles. Have learned many new skills that I didn't have prior to working here. I've been working at Insight for more than 5 years and I wouldn't still be here if it wasn't a great place to work. Sales isn't for everyone, be sure you're expectations are realistic, learn as much as you can and just have fun!
The good thingsGreat people, supportive environment and a lot of flexibility. Many opportunities for career progression or working from home. High base rate and commission. If you love talking to people and you're sales driven or love fundraising, this is the right role for you.
The challengesIf you haven't worked in a call centre or in a sales environment before, this role can be quite confronting at first. Give yourself time to settle in, you'll learn how to speak with people, be confident, be resilient and how to listen to others. These skills will be useful for the rest of your life and you'll definitely make a lot of lifelong friends.

Has been a great experience, expanded my everyday skills, taught me how to work autonomously and with a team.
The good things- Great culture - Excellent support with training and mentoring - Great incentives, games, friendly competition and work events - Great base rate and commission $$ - Working for great charities (like RSPCA) as I love animals - Feeling a great sense of accomplishment for the charity and being rewarded for your hard work. - Great learning experience and you'll gain a lot of skills that you'll use for the rest of your life (for eg, people skills, confidence and resilience).
The challenges- Being realistic, this is a sales target driven role so you'll be expected to reach your KPI's but the support is always there. - I think the people who may struggle in this role are those who haven't come from a sales background and aren't familiar with repetitive work, and impersonal rejection over the phone. - Its not for everyone but for people who understand the role (for eg, rejections and KPI's) will succeed and really enjoy the role.
