    AI summary of recent reviews

Murrumbidgee Local Health District offers significant benefits to employees, particularly in terms of career development opportunities and the ability to grow within the organisation. Staff appreciate the work-life balance typical of NSW Health positions, and many highlight the supportive nature of their ground-level colleagues. There was a noticeable culture of favoritism, with employment and promotion opportunities seemingly extended only to those within the manager’s personal or professional circle, rather than based on merit, qualifications.
The good thingsMy Experience at Murrumbidgee – Clinical Technology Department Working at Murrumbidgee in the Clinical Technology department was one of the most challenging and disappointing experiences of my career in the hospital system. The department was led by management that, in my view, lacked both the experience and understanding required for effective leadership in a clinical technical environment. The manager in question appeared to have no hands-on experience with medical devices or clinical servicing. Decisions were often made without appropriate technical insight, which undermined both efficiency and staff morale. It felt as though their background was not aligned with the highly specialized nature of the role—more akin to fast-food management than clinical technology.

Working for Murrumbidgee was one of the worst experiences of my career within the hospital system. Inexperienced managers having power over decisions and people management . Staff isolation and poor team work within a culture that allowed poor treatment of staff members.
