    The challengesOptometry is not a healthcare role, it is strictly retail and money driven where people including staff and patients are not a priority. Next to no training is provided and dispensers often are uneducated about the importance of the prescription they are selling, it is a goal of selling an accessory with whatever upsell you can manage. I was studying optemetry and this role was instrumental in my decision to change degree.

    The good thingsThey training you and help you and give all the support to get where you want to be and look after you if you have any problem family , financially or health , Opsm is one of the top optical company in Australia and New Zealand they have all the high fashionable designer brand If you get bored with your job will have the opportunity to change completely to different job in the same company and if you like to move to different. City for any reason you can still work for the same company in different city in all Australia and New Zealand. If you have any problem with any staff member or with your boss u can change to another shop They appreciate and believe in hard worker passionate team worker I am very proud to work in such great Company who look after their employee no matter what !
    The challengesBecause the economic is not great lately so you might forced to move to another store frequently !!
