    Health industry and retail combined. Mentally stimulating role with good peer support. Growth opportunities available and regional managers listen and support our WA teams well.
    The good thingsMental stimulation - always more to learn. Completing dispensing certificate as a trainee through OPSM along with learning through company-run courses including leadership development. Wonderful peers and team mates in home store and around the region. Everyone looks after each other and lends a hand or picks up the phone when needed. Great job to blend customer service and sales with the health industry. It feels good to help people feel good and look good in great quality specs that incorporate the latest technology in the way they are made.
    The challengesSometimes we have to work on our own. Lots of admin tasks to keep on top of. Theft of sunnies can be frustrating. Retail hours have been reduced making it hard to always be responsive to customers and to help train and coach our team mates. Time management and task prioritisation are important.

    The good thingsTraining, people/culture and job security Product reimbursement is amazing
    The challengesRetail hours but it’s retail managers try and be as flexible as possible but most stores are open 7 days - rostering is fair amongst the team.
