The good thingsRegardless; I was grateful to have a job. The hard working employees that are there to do their job, staff appreciation meals, free uniforms, efficient e-learning, excellent food safety, cleanliness and standards, hard-working chefs.
The challengesSupport for Everyone - not just for the Favourites. Unrealistic expectations on New + long term employees; unlimited...and unbelievably high burdens placed on 80% of employees - the rest of the 20% are the favourites and are left alone. No concern or compassion for your emotional welfare. High, High Stress, isolated from others, workload is piled high every shift, relentless stress from all surroundings. No staff to adequately train new staff. Was always waiting for a tragedy to happen to one of the patients due to exhausted and overstressed staff. Absolutely NO REAL support from Management. Company interested in profits for their share holders only. Staff are just a number. Shockingly sad. When I left I slept for a week. Absolutely exhausted and burnt out. Not worth the effort or the pay.
