Porters Lawyers offers some notable advantages, including interesting and engaging legal work, above-average compensation, and opportunities for extensive learning and exposure to various aspects of law practice across Australia. Some employees, particularly in support roles, report positive experiences with training and work-life balance.

This job made want to call in sick everyday.
The good thingsThe line of work is quite interesting.
The challengesBlame culture is a big one. Coworkers say they are willing to help you but in reality, make you feel stupid when asking for help. There is no HR for your issues and they are quick to let you go without any warning.

Promises of high pay do not align with the reality of long hours and unattainable performance targets.
The good thingsHigh salary on paper. While the salary appears high on paper, in reality, you'll likely be expected to work long hours and be evaluated against unrealistic performance targets.
The challenges Blame culture. Required to bill unrealistically high hours, which are unachievable without working outside regular hours and on weekends. You will endure blame in front of everyone and be expected to handle additional workload due to frequent staff turnover.
