What’s it like working at Royal North Shore Hospital?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Royal North Shore Hospital stands out for its supportive and collaborative team environment, where staff work together like family and help one another. The hospital offers excellent professional development opportunities, including comprehensive staff education and exposure to complex cases. Employees appreciate the flexible roster arrangements that support work-life balance, and the modern facilities and technology in the new premises enhance the working environment.

Some employees indicate that management communication and support could be enhanced. The fast-paced environment and high patient turnover can create demanding work conditions, particularly during busy periods.

Poor management who create the problems then are amazing that these even exist.
The good thingsDecent pay & leaving are my highlights
The challengesVERY understaffed - Constantly expected to do the job of 2-3 people while only getting paid for 1 & no raises nor recognition/promotion.

    The best workplace ever
The good thingsEverything is good in there. office people and the clinical team are the best people I have ever met. Some senior RN was ever willing to be my referees without asking, so I can stay in their ward to be a permanent staff after obtaining my registration. But that ward is not busy at all. Also, they are willing to teach me everything even not been asking. You know what, I was not their student, I was just the AIN who worked with them. I have learned most of my clinical knowledge from them, not from my placement.
    The challengesbasically nothing.
