Leadership operates in a top-down, authoritarian manner, dismissing staff concerns and fostering a climate of fear rather than collaboration. Constructive feedback is neither welcomed nor tolerated — those who speak up are quickly labeled as “troublemakers” and either silenced or pushed out.
The good thingsCollegues are very supportive.
The challengesWorking at this school was one of the most demoralizing and disheartening experiences of my professional career. Behind the glossy marketing brochures and staged community events lies a toxic culture where staff are regularly subjected to intimidation, and administrative gaslighting.

Leave your morals at the door and drink the Kool-Aid.
The good thingsWhen given smaller senior class sizes this allows for a great rappor to be built with VCE students. Many staff and students are excellent to work with and deserve the credit for any successes this school has.
The challengesToxic from the top down, claim to care for staff & student mental health but this was far from my experience. Management made it clear to me that I was replaceable, and I felt intimidated into silence when raising serious workplace issues. For me & others who I spoke to this was an unsafe workplace.

very, very, frustrating with unreasonable timeframes and a lack of understanding from all management from Principal down
The good thingsThe staff at the school are excellent and value their colleagues.
The challengesThe work is not valued by management and they do not trust their staff. Micro managing with a hypocritical approach
