This is a welcoming and supportive workplace where I’ve felt confident starting my role and well cared for in managing my workload.
The good thingsI have really appreciated the clear and supportive onboarding, the care shown around caseload management, and the ongoing training opportunities. Together, these create a balanced and encouraging workplace where I feel valued and supported. The training, in particular, provides me with the confidence to further develop my skills and grow in my role.
The challengesNothing so far, my experience has been positive.

Would never recommend this role to anyone. The time you will need to heal when you finally escape is not worth the risk of accepting a role here.
The good thingsThe clients. The work - very important and needed work but unsafe to practice in the environment fostered at this organisation. WFH.
The challengesThe management and leadership team. The lack of qualified (therapeutic) management. The culture purposely created to divide the team and cause isolation. The lies from management which are covered up or ignore completely when reported to upper leadership. The exclusion techniques that management uses, as opposed to inclusive team environment they claim to nurture. The cruelty from the management team. The deleting of my honest reviews _ I was unaware that Seek deleted reviews. This is an unsafe working environment for anyone who cares about clients and wants to support them. Enter at your own risk. Make sure you have a strong support system behind you - external from work if you take the risk to work here. And an external supervisor you trust who can guide you to manage your self care and ethical practice.
James Blevin - CEOThank you for sharing your experience. I’m truly sorry your time at Youturn felt unsupported — that’s not what we want for anyone. We know remote work can create distance, so we’re working to strengthen connection and trust. We're investing in leadership, management training, and prioritising inclusion and wellbeing. Creating meaningful connection remains a key focus. Your client work is deeply valued. I also want to acknowledge the importance of the client work you mentioned; it is at the heart of everything we do. If you feel comfortable, please reach out to our People & Performance team ([email protected]) or to me directly. Your voice matters. Warm regards, James, CEO
