What’s it like working at The Springfield Anglican College?

    AI summary of recent reviews

The Springfield Anglican College is characterised by its dedicated and supportive staff who work collaboratively across both campuses. The school maintains high standards for student behaviour and demonstrates a strong commitment to pastoral care. There is a notable sense of community among staff, students, and families, and employees appreciate the regular working hours and leave benefits.

However, the school faces some operational challenges, including a complex management structure with multiple layers of hierarchy that can affect communication flow. Some employees note limited career progression opportunities in certain roles, and there can be challenges with departmental silos and resource management, particularly in the primary campus.

Work here for the money and set your expectations low.
The good thingsEarly starts and early finishes are great, the other maintenance team members are fantastic to work with and are highly skilled and under paid for their efforts.
The challengesThe facilities management has no people skills or empathy along with mood swings and a lack of care and well-being for their employees. Plus the teaching staff are lazy and expect the facilities team to do their work when it comes to events.

The good thingsAwesome environment and team! Lots of awesome new exciting projects to work on and there was always awesome collaboration within the team and with stakeholders to complete those projects right the first time.
The challengesThere are always some, but we all worked as a team to overcome them. We had many projects that were half done by previous employees that we banded together to compete.
